Dunno how you weren't bottoming, my only rear drop is JLP shackles and it bottomed a lot, loaded or not. Must be a '00 thing.
Or a crappy Florida road/speed bumps everywhere thing ;)
Like I said, 3 washers really doesn't bother me.
