Well I'm back on the street now with a decent tune. Thanks to Manny and Jeremy @HPP. We fabbed all new lines for the blower and intercooler. We also converted to a blow through setup. It drives great. And that procharger race bypass is loud as hell. The numbers are as follows 465/465 to the tires @ 11 degrees and 10-1 afr and 10 psi @5200 rpm. I will be spinning this motor to at least 6500 but am fuel limited to where I am at now. 60's are on order as well as a fuel cell to replace the huge 26 gallon monster currently on there. Going to switch to a weldon pump as well. Needless to say all were very impressed with the power put down low timing and low rpm and low boost. I am very happy. Now to improve on the fuel. Here are some pics. I still need to send all the piping to jet hot but here ya go.

Nice job!
Can't wait to see what happens when you turn up the wick! I'm guessing you have a low compression motor and can up the boost quite a bit from there? You need to go from 10psi -> 18 psi. Good luck Drooling over the nice work and 4V heads!

Was out at Kennedale today for the first time. Not a bad place other than the long drive for me to get there. Ran 8.77 at 82.73 with a 2.163 short time LOL. Very traction limited with these 35 series tires on there. Anything over idle and it will not quit spinning untill I let out of it. But not a bad time for the level it's at now. Things will be changeing again on the 3rd of Dec. Will be putting in the 60's and turning it to about 6500 on the shifts. Numbers should be very good. Traction will come soon wainting on my tranny parts to arrive so I can rebuild it to handle the power.

I'll make some bold preditions, ----- when you get some tires on it that will hook (as in slicks) hone the tricky launch and get everything dialed,------------------------ 7.00-7.20's --------------
in a 1/4 mile, that should equate to very low 10's If you were to really make an attempt to get the truck lighter and run thru open headers, ,--- I predict high 6's --- that's squeaking into the 9's on a 1/4 ------------ waddaya bet. |

Bud, you definately need a built tranny with a transbrake valvebody so you can leave off a button instead of foot braking it.
About a 3500 - 4000 rpm converter ( don't want the launch to be to brutal) and you just watch that dude come right to life! |
