Hey guys,
I just installed the interchiller. Now I forgot to ask last time. Does the pump come on when power is on or does it come on by some sending unit from a temp signal? When the key is on there is no action as of now.....
Thanks

The IC pump comes on ~ 10 seconds after the engine is running & it runs all the time. If you wired the Interchiller as per SVT Motorsports, the twin spal fans will come on at the same time your IC pump comes on,... and the fans will run all the time. I have this unit & it really moves some air.
PS: Tap into the white wire that goes to the IC pump with the smaller blue wire from the SVT MS I/C relay & the biggger red to the power block behind the fuse box,...

Is the Fuse to the IC pump good to go?

The fuse was swapped and the pump works good...NOW! I had replaced the larger relay and I still cant see where the fuse is broken. However I shaved the white wire for the pump and tied the blue interchiller line to it. NO go. I used a meter on the hot wire main fuse box ,then right before the little box fuse on the interchiller, then from there to I guess the relay on the interchiller, it was hot. But from the blue wire out ..no signal to complete the circuit. Thanks BBU.Damn I get one thing going and now another. Its so damn humid and hot I drank over a gallon of water. Heat index is over a 100 and Im my driveway not the shop.
Time for some coffee...

You might try swapping out the relay on the SVT MS Interchiller, even if it is new, it could be a bad one,.. also the circuit breaker could be bad. Just R&R the relay & the breaker,... the components are cheap (cost wise), probably $15- tops. I believe your local chain parts store would have every thing. Best of luck.

I have a temperature sensor in my reservoir and at the end of a 1/4 mile pass on a 85 degree day, running 17 psi from a ported eaton, my IC fluid was only at 125*F. That's about what I would expect when my IAT-2 temp is 132*F.

Inter-Cooler opinions round up

IMHO: viewing my system results and others and with all the pro's and cons to date.

I think no matter how much water your carrying, all the water get's hot in pretty short order, sure I can pack my extra large JLP reservoir and help..

I think the all round best solution is going to be the KC for me.

What do you guy's think....?
