A/C question
I just bought my truck last week, and to me the A/C does not cool very well. It eventually will get somewhat cold, but I like it freezing. I had a company truck that was a 03' Ford F-150 XLT and that thing froze me out the truck. Is anyone having the same problems or should I have the truck checked out. I bought the truck in Chicago so I am sure the A/C was not used much, but I am in New Orleans and A/C is a must. Any suggestions or comments?

Since you probably don't know whether the AC system was ever serviced or worked on, I'd take it to a qualified A/C service shop and have them inspect and check the system. Could be something as simple as evacuating the old freon, then vacuum the system down before recharging. Could also be a bad evaporator or any other failing component. For an AC system to cool at it's coolest levels, it needs to be completely free of any AIR, so just adding more freon can cause bigger issues later on.
