Stolen Truck: TEXAS Please Keep Eyes Out

Hey folks,

My buddy Dave just had his truck stolen today. It was stolen today between 7:30am and 5pm in La Porte, Tx. You can't miss it....If you see it please call the cops. Then call Dave at. (979) 412-1563.

Appreciate the help guys

I'll try to get the word out to some peeps I know in TX, but I have a feeling you'd see it on video crossing the border.

UPDATE 1700 5/21/08

Rockin' Good News! Truck has been found! It's in Houston at a Salvage yard near Almeda Genoa and North Freeway.

David doesn't know what shape it is in. He's on his way to the yard to see if he can see it as they closed at 4:30.

Will know more tonight after he calls.

David wants me to pass on his sincere thanks to everyone for spreading the word so quickly and their concern.

salvage yard usually = bad news...

my sisters civic was stolen and 3 days later we were told it was in a salvage yard, with everything stripped from the car. good luck though

Sounds like it may have been just some idiots going for a joyride. Doesn't appear to be a chop shop job. Hopefully he's just missing some stereo and video equipment and can move forward.

He had full coverage also so he should be OK on that front also. Hopefully he doesn't have to go through what Bearhunter did when his truck went missing.
