Okay guys,
As you have probally seen Ken800 and I were both experimenting with the air intake temps to see what was better.
JLP Ram air or Modded STOCK box
I was fooling around today and decided to do some more tests. I have tested some different setups all last week. Here is what I got, Stock air box, K&N filter, 2 1/2" Vacuum hose ram air.
I tested this for about 15 minutes or so, I took it down the street and rode for about 5-7 miles, most of the time staying between 40-50 mph. Had 2 red lights that lasted about 6 minutes. The temp outside was 61 degrees and the air intake temp NEVER was higher than 64 degeres. The setup today was DUAL tubes coming into one mounted under the intercooler, and the air box boot conected to the fender. The engine temp was 180-185 degrees. I'll post some more results in a few days, I just wanted to post this before I forgot.
