here is what MY store policy was when i worked for Sound Adivce (or Tweeter). For the first year of a customer having a JL ELECTRONIC product I would swap it out for them. Give them a new amp and take the other back and send it to JL. After a year I would tell the customer it has to be sent to JL. If i had someone come to me multiple times in the first year i would tell them it would have to be sent to jl just to teach them a lesson. that when i set an amp its not for them to d ick with!
And yes the AMP has a two year warranty from JL Audio. Just have to either go to that shop and say You want it to be sent to JL for warranty work. Or call jl audio @ 19544431100 Press 5 and then 1 for customer service. either lisa or two other ladies will answer (maria i think and another one

) and tell them you need an RA form (have a fax number and receipt of sale ready, also make sure the recept says something about install on it or you may be screwed on the two year warrenty). Dont take no for an answer here. They will try to convice you to go through the authorized shop. Tell them You bought your amp from a authorized dealer and they are not cooperating with you and you would like to deal with them directly.

You will only have the pay the $150 to fix it if it is out of warranty. All you should have to pay is for the ride there. As far as time yea it CAN take that long but here lately JL has been quicker then your first time for me.

4 weeks max..depending on how close to AZ you are because that is where the amp is going!
can anyone else see i have had to do this before?
