yeah, i just got a stealthbox not too long ago. it was enough at first. but now i'm wanting more. you should have the problem i have with the lid rattling every now and then since you cut the in bucket thing and put it in there.

JL is top stuff, I had a buddy that strictly used those products for audio competitions and he did well all of the time.

yeah, i want to end up with 2 w6's in a box replacing the console or 1 w7 in a stock like looking box(one that uses stock lid). i think that should be enough for me.

the stealthbox itself fills up the cab pretty nice. it doesn't carry outside or anything....maybe just a little if the song has some big bass in it. but it still doesn't go far. still sounds a lot better than not having a sub at all.

idk where you are located but i am building a few fiberglass rear consoles that look stock and what not..

send me a PM and i will send you some pics...

it should be able to hold 2 10s or 1 BIG 12... like 1 of the subs i am using.. 2000 rms should be enough for the normal person...

just send me a PM and i will show you the enclosure...

i am thinking the stealth box was around 300-400 not sure i dont remember but i know my box is cheaper then that... not much.. but overall will put out ALOT more bass...

okay so i retract my previous statement about it not being enough. i just wasn't turning it up load enough. a lot of that had to do with the fear of blowing it....plus the rattling problem i mentioned. but i'm about to try to fix that this weekend. but you'll love it b17nka. sounds awesome, fills up the cab really well too.

but i still may replace it with a w6 in a year or so. but it's a GREAT start imo.

hello BKopHD
yeah i agree i used to do a lot of sound off competitions with my escort van which had 8 x 12 inch subs,6.5 inch comps and 6 x 9s i just wanted a nice sounding car but with plenty of bass if the need be,it sounds very nice now not too over powering just sweet but i can turn the sub up to give ample bass if i need it
cheers andy
