Colgan Bra needs cleaning

I'm taking a trip this week and I went to pull out my Colgan bra to throw on the truck and I realized I never cleaned it from my roadtrip last year. Anyone know what i can use to clean dead bugs off of it?

Simple Green... Then give it a good coating of Armor All or another vinyl protectant.

Use vinylex or 303 aerospace protectant.

Armorall and vinyl protectant in the same sentence, isn't that an oxymoron like jumbo shrimp?

just busting chops since you did mention Armorall brand : Armorall is probably one of the lowest rated detailing products on the market

Thanks guys. I'll try Simple Green on those tough stubborn love bugs. I went to Pep Boys to look for a soft brush or something like that to use as well and I'll go on the record to say Pep Boys sucks!!!! I really hate that place, especially their car detail section. I have vinylex and like it alot. I wish I could find 303 protectant though. I loved that stuff for my convertible top.

anyway, try local tint shops/detailing shop for 303. I've never seen it in a retail store like pep boys or advance auto, but I was at a tint shop this weekend and they had a big display of 303 products.

I've remembered seeing it in marine shops too so I'll have to check there again.

+1 for 303 protectant, only place I can find it around here is boat stores, it was originally designed for boat vinyl and seats, ect. I use it on my vinyl hot tub cover. Without it the cover lasts in the Fl sun about 2 years before its shredded from sunburn. With the 303 I'm going on 3 years and it looks new. Pricey but well worth it!

I was talking to the spa place last time I bought a new cover and was asking about ArmorAll-ing it. The guy said it was the worst thing you can do to outdoor vinyl, the sun will actually destroy it faster, he see people doing it all the time. After researching online for a day. 303 is the best stuff you can get.
