I have not had real good results with B2B.
Have you tried PB Trim Restorer or Black WOW!
really depends how the paint is, I've had to use the yellow pads (heavy cut) before on my girls convertible.

Here's some pics, not for the faint hearted! Most places I went to and detailers I spoke with said it would be impossible to repair this paint - It's still not perfect, but it doesn't look like a POS anymore.

The before pics are after being washed, the paint always looked fine when it was wet, no matter what product I tried.

I fixed that paint with the yellow pad, and TR-3 glaze -
Amazon.com: Blue Magic 12A TR-3 Resin Glaze - 16 fl. oz.: Automotive

I typically only need to use the green pad for my polish step, black pad for sealant, and red pad for wax.

I like the CG all-in-one polish, I make 2 passes with that with green pad, then black pad.
Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies : CHEMICAL GUYS WHOLESALE AUTO DETAILING SUPPLIES CAR WASH PRODUCTS PROFESSIONAL CAR DETAIL SUPPLY FACTORY DIRECT

I've also used the P40 and that works good.

for wax I've still got a bunch of mothers wax that comes with the clay bar kits that I'm still using up, it works fine so I roll with it.

I haven't tried PB trim or Black wow, where do you get those?

It's good enough to be in a car show! That looks MUCH better that when it started out! Good Job!

Surbuf Pads:
Depending on the paint, that looks like a perfect candidate for the Surbuf pads.
I have not had good luck with yellow pads. wore out, went flat, didn't really work etc.
I think you will really like the Surbuf pad. They are fairly cheap and do a great job.
How to use a Surbuf Pad.

I found Black to Black didn't last and even worse it ran down the paint on the side of the wife's car. (ARGH)
Poor Boys Trim Restorer works good but Black Wow uses only a pea sized amount and lasts much longer.

Keep up the good work!

Back 2 Black is the crappiest product I think I've ever used That hit the chit can fast! lol. As you said, doesn't last long, and even with barely any on the trim, as soon as it gets wet it tends to streak down. On Hyde I just smoothed and painted all the plastic trim to eliminate that problem. On Jekyll since I use Zaino it doesn't leave white residue, and what I get from the 3M compounds, either just regular 303 works good, or even better is Zaino ZCS since you can put that on the paint AND plastic and its a quick coat of polish on the paint, and really shines up the plastic trim.

the only car I've had the B2B streak on is my white notchback, it will streak down off the mirrors if I recently applied it and then it got rained on, but the mirrors aren't painted on the foxbody's so they need a lot of B2B to get a deep gloss free matte black finish.

I'll get some of that black wow and give it a shot, does it work similar to B2B in that it's good for any plastic/non painted material like the bumper pads and such on the harley?

you can buy plastic dye for bumpers and mouldings, the product will self level, and dry to a nice satin finish, really close to oem. best think is its a one time thing, lasts as long as you keep the buffer away from it.
you can get it at commerical body shop supply stores

Hey Merlin, I tried out the Surbuf / M105 with that KBM this weekend on the convertible.

I followed up with a white pad with Optimum polishing compound, and then topped in with hand applied Chemical Guys Xtreme depth wax + Xseal 2in1.

I think it came out pretty well

I listed the car on ebay and it sold for our buy it now price, the new owner is flying in tomorrow morning.

I bet he'd be shocked to see the 'before' pictures of the car from 3-4 years ago before I bought a DA and taught myself paint repair!

every time I look at the car I can't believe how good the paint looks compared to before.

replacing the top intimidated me too much, I hope the new owner replaces the top with a nice black cloth top and sends me pictures, the top on it now is really killing how good it could look.
