Hope the pics post. I had to drive this thing 230 miles one way to get it home. Not complaining at all brcause the price was more than just right and so were the miles. Plastic still on the inside emblems and sweat arm rest cover. Took me 3 months to find this one! Well worth the wait.

So is it worth putting on the heat exchanger for my semi stock goals?

These things are an addiction!
The front windows aren't even tinted?. Is the engine bone stock? If you do change out the heat exchanger and other parts, you may want to keep the stock items, in case you decide to make the truck look original down the line.

but this site is more about modding, not keeping these truck original. they aren't classics , yet.

Welcome...

+1 as to what everyone has mentioned for the mods. I have an 03 as well and it's my DD. Got the 6lb lower and FTVB plus the supporting mods and she's running great

Hit up LFP and see what packages they have available....

At least we all know that the DSG's are the fastest on average!

picked

Thanks again everyone. Well i picked it up for $26k and will getting rid of those untinted front windows shortly.
I get busted out because I show up to Motorcycle track days with my race bike which is a Suzuki using a Harley to pull it, but they admit that the truck is sharp looking. I'll be doing the mods next year as the truck is going into storage and I'm sure I'll have that big smile on my face when I pull it back out again.
