Here are a couple of local fun events for August.
FHTOC folks come out and Meet & Greet.

* SUNDAY - AUGUST 8 * "Hooters & Hotrods Open Car Show" 3pm-7pm Glades Rd - Boca

* SUNDAY - AUGUST 15 * "South Florida Tattoo Expo and Car Show Open Car Show" 10a-3:30p Hillsboro Blvd - Deerfield

* FRIDAY - AUGUST 27 * "Tower Shoppes Friday Night Cruise" 6p-10p - Davie * ALL SoFl HD's come out and show a presence at this one!!!

South Florida Tattoo Expo and Car Show
Aug 15th Deerfield Beach Hilton - 10am-3:30pm
I did this one last year. It is a very unique show!
I was the ONLY HD there!
Come on folks help me out here!
Let's get some local HD trucks at this one.

All proceeds benefit Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital! Raised over 500,000 to date! Come out and have a great time!

15th Annual Tattoo Expo and Open Car Show hosted by The Cruisers of South Florida in conjunction with the 15th annual South Florida Tattoo Expo at the Deerfield Beach Hilton Hotel. Registration the day of the event is $25.00 which includes entry to the Expo for 2 persons for the day. Show hours from 11am to 4pm. Top 35 Awards with trophy presentation at 3:30 sharp. Entertainment provided by Scott The Musicman.

I was the only HD at this show last year. Yes it's $20 (early registration) but that includes 2 tickets to the tattoo and piercing expo.
This hands down has to be the most unusual car show I've ever been to!

This is not a "show car" event. Although there are a few there, it's about just being there and checking it all out.
Last year the car next to me was a Grand National. It was kinda beat and needed a wash and he won a trophy.
It's a rare opportunity to see some unique people during the daytime that usually only come out at night.

Last year the car show was pretty darn good and the FULL body tat contest was a lot of fun.
I found the suspension show the most entertaining. They changed it up a little last year...
Instead of putting visqueen on the floor they used a crane over the Hilton hotel swimming pool.

Well it poured down rain all day Aug 8th so I never made it to the Hooters & Hotrods Open Car Show.

This weekend is the most unique car show in Florida

I was the only Harley truck at this show last year.

Come on folks don't let me be the only Harley truck in the show!

I was just informed that the Denny's "closed" and it's now called PAINTED APPLE.
We will still meet there just wanted to advise everyone of the name change.
Again same location 1250 W Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach.

They do serve breakfast....
