Group Buy on Split Cowl Hoods

FBI Rides has agreed to provide us with a group purchase on the split cowl hoods for the 97 - 03 Ford F150. They are located in Rancho Cordova, California.

Note: Do not purchase through their website, you will not receive the discount. I will keep Mike at FBI updated on who is signed up. I would like to turn this list into him as soon as possible. Then YOU will need to call Mike at FBI Rides (1877-324-6464) and take care of payment directly with him. Don't forget to mention you are part of the NHTOC group buy. This all need to be done by March 14th.

These are a steel hood that comes unpainted. They may need minor surface prep before paint.

We need a minimum of 8 people to get the group buy price. There will be no maximum number of hoods avaliable. This group buy will be open to all registered users on NHTOC.

The group buy price is $175. With the buyer to pay for shipping costs. The shipping costs were quoted as $125 to a business address and $170 to a residential. These shipping costs are estimates only, but the salesman said it should be very close though. Local pick up is allowed.

Keep in mind it will take approximately 1 month to receive the hoods do to the tranport time from their supplier overseas and then the shipping time to us.

FBI Rides would like to have our order by March 14, 2007 so the hoods could make the next shipment that they will receive. The way it sounded, we could order after that date, but we would need to wait for the following shipment.

If I remember right DblG has pics in this thread, Im at work now so all I get are red X's.

The stock Lightning hood is 13#... 60# holy cow!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to think about that
