did you buy it used? the instructions that come with them are very good and have good pics and details. only confusing part is the fuse box, but once you get which direction the picture is facing its not bad

LFP fan is finished! (pics)
there's the thread i put up when i first got the Efan 2 years ago. probably some tips in there or something

one tip....for the sending unit....alot of guys try to do it from under the truck and take a coolant bath
just jack the drivers side up, pull the drivers wheel off, and the sending unit goes right in front of you in the block. makes the install for that nice and quick and easy and hardly any mess at all. i lost maybe an ounce of coolant at most

wow, thats a nice tip I will have to remember that.

I guess you are talking about installing the t-stat.

What about wiring the switch in the cab, you must drill a hole through the firewall?

SMOAK,
On the driver's side firewall, you will find a hole with a rubber grommet already drilled from the factory. Use that to route the wire for the manual override switch.

yep, like Kromie said.
Then under the dash, by where your right leg would be, there's a hole that the switch fits in perfect, and is nice and hidden and out of the way. hard to describe, somebody else could probably give you a better idea of its location, but its the perfect spot for it, the wire is the exact length you need, and no drilling

the hole is just to the left of the Diagnostics port and on the same bracket as the diagnostic port. The Port is just below the cubby hole to the lower right of the steering wheel. Like Harley said, perfect spot, not drilling and hidden out of the way so that you dont accidently bump it.

IMO the hardest part of the install was getting the wire loom cover off of the firewall, above the engine, to route my remote fan switch, temp sender wire and fuse box wires. Installing the temp sender into the block was a sanp and I think I spilt maybe 1/4 cup of fluid. I jacked up the drivers side of the truck, left the tire on, crawled underneath and got her done.
