My $10 lower grille - Page 14

Well, might have some disappointing news...i was ganna do the Venom Mod, went to go look at my '08 lower grill section behind the license plate and, it was empty....Nothing there at all....i dont think i can do the Venom Mod to mine

Heres a pic, tell me what u think

I can't think off hand what the 08's lower grille looks like, but if its just bars, the 3M chrome stuff just sticks over top. If there's nothing there at all, there are companies that sell matching lower grilles that fit into the opening. Couldn't really tell from that pic if its the outside looking into an opening, or the inside looking out from behind the bumper? lol

LOL sorry ...if u look at the bottom left of the picture thats the license plate reflection from the lower part of the bumper

Thats just the "hole" underneath the top grill where the license plate fits right in the middle thats actually a picture behind the license plate.

When my truck gets back home ill take another pic trying to make things more clear

I was just disappointed i couldnt do the $10 Venom Mod if that turns out to be the case

here this is a little more pulled back u can see where the license plate goes, if this one is still to close to see what it is i can pull back a lot more

Ah so no grille at all. I see what ya mean. Guess its time to hit up ebay for a matching lower grille!

I think it will still work but you will have to do a 2 bar instead of the 3 to get the same spacing. I thank the grilles had different spacing or they had a larger opening in
bumper. 08 has a 3" opening.

i can not seem to find that stuff for the life of me tried every auto parts store locally i guess i will have to order it off of the internet

another venom mod done 20 minutes of time and used the elegant brand stick on from advance auto parts worked just fine
