How to program your pats key
If you want to add a key or replace your worn keys.
1-you will need two keys to program any new keys. 2-make sure your new cut keys function properly.(operation in cylinder) 3-install 1st working key in ignition and start engine and run for 1 or 2 seconds. 4-withing ten seconds insert 2nd working key and start engine and run for 1 or 2 seconds. 5-insert new key within 10 seconds and turn it to run and leave it there for 1 second and turn back to off. 6-your key is now programed.start vehicle and enjoy. I found this to work very well and easy to do.I cant believe that someone would charge $50 or more to do this. Hope this helps someone before they get ripped off. ![]()

Only 1 key will require a locksmith/dealership the only alternative I am afraid.

Home depot can program additional keys if you only have 1. probably cheaper than the dealer.

Need to make sure they have a person come in who can program them. They aren't home depot employees, its a subcontracted sort of thing. I'm guessing not all home-depots have it.
