lfp efan help!

instructions say:
mount relay, ground (2 black wires) behind green ground bold located to left of electric fan relays directly behind battery on firewall (8mm socket)

ok, now which green bolt is it?
i have two side by side
is it the one further to the passenger side (further to the left if you are looking at your engine from the front of the vehicle)
or is the the one further to drivers side?
thanks in advance

I had the same question and decided to find "the path of least resistance"...what was the easiest to use/access. Here are a few pix, hope they'll show you how/where I mounted mine:

Man, I forgot if there are 2 relays . But if there is a second one, I mounted it behind the Y-harness:

I know, VERY, VERY DIRTY engine bay. It is scheduled for a cleaning.
jalliel,
hope the above pix helps. BTW, find a way to insulate/protect the GREEN sensor wire so you won't have a problem later. Also, be ready for the TRANNY FLUID BATH if you don't drain your radiator.
Holler if you need more help. Good luck

ok, i got the e-fan installed...the fan is coming on when i power on the AC and also when i turn it on using the manual on switch

one last question?

is the fan susposed to come when the ignition starts or rather come on when the engine reaches a specific temperature?

With A/C off, efan kicks in only after a set temperature is reached (forgot what it was but some guys here have ugraded to a T-STAT so it comes on at 170 degrees)
