What hardware do you need to put in the shocks from Big Bill?

in page 1, picture shows the NEW isolator nuts (washer with nut on top and rubber bushing underneath).

Depends on who you buy the shocks from, they may come with it already in the box or in BigBills case, NOT.

But he has already ordered them and I think is sending them with the Bilsteins in his special

I've heard that the L-spec shocks (specifically Bilsteins) are 3/4" inch shorter than the stockers. Have you found this to be true?

havent heard anything about it. not like it really matters. our trucks are lowered the same amount as the L's, so L-spec bilsteins will fit up perfect on our trucks and handle a million times better

Found this How-to pretty useful for a first time shock install (swap).

For the driver's side though found an easier way to get to the top of that insulator nut:

Through the engine bay!



It was MUCH easier than trying to pry the insulator nut off from the side where the wheel skirt thing gets in the way.. just my opinion (and my boyfriend's) lol Thought it might help out someone. It was only for the driver's side though, the passenger's side was easier than that.
