My pleasure. Glad to help!!

You don't really need to seperate the intercooler from the adapter plate to clean it however for those of us that have a bit of retenativeness, half azzed isn't an option.

nice write up Bob. I hope you dont mind. I copied your post and made a page for it on my site. http://www.evlls1.com/cleancooler.html

i gave you credit for the information of course. I'm trying to make my ford how-to section just as strong based as my LS1 one on my site.

If anyone wants to contribute to a write up please email me with what you have, your user name on here, email if you want, etc... and i'll make a page for it.

i really would like a long list of ford part numbers if available also. I really appreciate it. I hope my site can help out the ford guys just as much as the fbody crowd i've had around my site all these years.

The only bolts you need to dispose of are the smaller bolts that bolt the inter-cooler together. They are "Torque to Yield" bolts.
They are designed to stretch when torqued to OEM spec's & should be replaced once removed. Get new ones, they are cheap.
All the other bolts are reusable.
