See I have a reflexxions hood and mine came with the hood.....from what I was told, these struts were off a regular f150.

Hmmm....you learns something new everyday.

Call sports truck direct.....they sell reflexxion hoods and the owner is a great guy to deal with.

Sorry about my misunderstanding.

BTW....the struts are made by reflexxions.

K... maybe a lil off topic, and kinda still on topic. Its about the hood, and the weigh of an aftermarket hood but i dont think struts.

When i pull the hood release, my Cervinis hood just sits there, unless i have the help of someone else to lift the hood up. Then it will come up, then u release it like normal.

Anyway to upgrade the ??Locking Mechanism?? < yea... i am guessing on that.

i didnt have that problem with my cervinis, but i did/do with my keystone since its a little more front heavy than rear heavy witht he scoops being placed further forward.

just get some WD-40 and spray it on the latch mechanism, have somebody pull the hood release while you are doing it to get it all lubed up good. after that you should be good to go. it wont pop all the way up but it'll still release enough so that you can open the hood by yourself and not need a 2nd person to pull up while you pull the release.

when i drove my truck all the time and washed it at least once a week, i'd have to re lube the latch like every 2 months because it would wash away, but its a cheap easy fix that should work for you

Man I wish, I loved the weight of the stocker. Would not take much for some one to make a shaker out of a stocker.
