Link to JLP CAI for our trucks

Does anyone have a link to the new style CAI for our harley trucks? I searched their website but could not locate it.

Also, for those of you using this CAI, how is the maintenance on the filter? Does it need oiled or anything regularly? How is the install? Pretty straight forward?

Thanks

Harley 356 has a How to and a post comparing the new style JLP with the old Style JLP. The install is pretty straight forward.

How To: JLP Ram Air Intake (New Style)

maintenance on the filter is the same as any other. regular cleaning and recharging. withthe new style ram air it doesnt get nearly as dirty since the scoop pickup is higher up, but I still run a prefilter from JLP to keep it cleaner longer. i've actually never had to clean my filters with running the prefilter.

Install is cake, I've got the comparison thread between the new and old styles, and a how-to for installing the new style step by step.

Yeah its always best to call JLP to order. Their website doesn't get updated quite as often with everything they sell. I think the price for the full kit is like 245 or 285 but its been so long I honestly forget. The quality of their new kits is top notch!

Just keep in mind, their office is closed wednesdays so you gotta call Mon, Tues, Thurs, or Fri to order. And sometimes they're a bit busy, I always find the easiest time to get through is around lunch or around the end of the day.

Ok great. Thanks Harley356.

One more question, while I am going to already have the intake off is there anything else I should check or change while the intake is already off? Anything that would add more HP?

thanks

you can port the stock throttle body. There's a how-to in the how-to section. Can also port the plenum. Small things that eventually add up together to help. May as well pull the blower and change the plugs and clean the IC while you're wrenching lol
