Well this should be fun........

We live in a condo, downstairs. Well a few weeks ago our upstairs neighbor's bathroom started leaking into our bathroom.

Fast forward to today.......demo day. Oh yes, what fun we will have.

Because of the mold problem the leak created, and we needed to get a new tub and tile installed, this is causing us to be out of a bathroom for at least a week. (and its the only bathroom we have) So now I have to find a hotel for us to stay in.....me, Stew and Little Stew. Pack clothes, shower stuff, makeup, toys, etc etc. This should get interesting, but the end result will be worth it. I will probably be crazy LOL
7 days + 3 people + 2 beds + 1 room =

You will be fine. When we built our new house 4 years ago, We lived with my inlaws while we built because we sold the house faster than we thought.

6months + 4 people + 3 dogs + 1 bed + 1 room =

Thats right, they didn't want the mess in their house so we were confined to 1 bedroom.

gonna be more like a month now from what they are saying....there go the mod days....I got no SH!tter....HEAVEN FORBID I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF MODDING AT THE PAD AND SUDDENLY THE CHIPS AND SALSA REALLY KICK IN!!!!!!!!!!

Just got finished checking into motel down the road in the next town....seems they have a triathalon this weekend up in ours soooooo of course nothing is availble till monday GACK

LOL tell me bout it....

Might be some good news...may get the whole thing paid for....

OF course the dry wall damage, paint, etc onus was on them...but looks llike a new tub and tile will be paid for to a( this was the part we were planning on doing)

As it stands now...the two walls and part of the ceiling in the kitchen, two walls and a ceiling in the bathroom, the tub, and tile have to be done. Not to include all the Mold clean up process as well. Also our bakside neighbors have damage also and they will be out of house for the same time to. Unsure to the extent but they have damage also...

Their insurance company is paying for the repairs, the condo that we will be stayin in and Per Diem for food (BFAST, lunch and dinner) every day that we are displaced from our home. So all in all not that bad...just wont get any modding done unless I resort to crappin in a bucket at my place RONFLMAO

Will be showing the truck next weekend down at the Q...but if I cant get her dettailed somehow that wont be happening.....

Well hell that took a 180 real quick...lol. Didnt that leak creep into the living room, bedroom, and kitchen too? Gonna have to have them pay to redo the entire condo brand new...lol.

Yeah..their insurance company knows we have a mold specialist on board and arent afraid to use him I guess....

They dont play around with that stuff out here in Cali...we said mold and they went to bending over backwards...

The thing is the whole place was redone except for the tub before I bought it, as part of the renovation deal they were cutting current renters. The only thing that I did not opt to redo in the entire place was the tub. We were getting ready to redo the tub last year...oh well....someone is paying for it and it aint me.LOL

Did I tell how much fun it is!!!!!!

SHEESH.....got moved out of one Hotel to another...least this one is closer than where we were at. Totally forgot my buddy, 2tonoFUn (member here) runs the Residence INN bout 7 miles from the condo....so gave him a call and got in here. Nice setup, two burner stove, dish washer, deep sink, full fridge, knives, forks, plates, mircowave, one full bedroom suite for me and the wife and pull out couch bed for Lil Stew. Nice complimentary breakfast, every night from 530-700pm is happy hour, and they serve food and drinks.... It aint home but its better than where we were. Looks like we might make the stay here for the duration.

The condo we were looking at renting wanted a deposit and all that...um well er...if I had not gone on a Mod spree we could have swung that deposit...but still dont want to get to tapped out incase we get stuck with some unforseen bills or have to start battling with our neighbors insurance company. Dont see that coming as they have been really goood, so far...............
