Look @ this pix: think u still having a BAD day???

Got this from medical circles so it's probably legit (unless the photoshop gurus here say otherwise). Mechanism of injury (MOI): skydiving accident (looks like a fence post or something)

No matter how crappy things may seem, there is always someone, somewhere in deeper crap than you are:

I've seen that pic before... it doesn't look photochopped, looks very real to me... all I have left to say is "OWWW!!!!!!"

another pic of the "could be worse" scenario.... it's a cartoon, and much more on the funny side than the previous pic

If I can still live a productive life without being a burden to anyone, then I agree with 02moneypit above. I have worked in retirement homes and have listened to folks who want to "check out" due to "quality of life" reasons. A majority of them have DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) orders on file so the staff knows what NOT TO DO.

This is a very real concern for me because of my choice to ride motorcycles (paramedics call it DONOR cycles). Yup, I am an organ donor and my wishes are in writing on what course of action I want taken when my number comes up.

I've seen the picture before as well, but I just noticed something different this time. Anyone notice that the post actually went all the way through his body? The other end is jutting out just under is left rib cage.

I was wondering WHAT THAT THING WAS (thought it was a kind of retractor or pan)
