Tring to see if I can get a price break on the schedule 80 PVC. A local place did quote me a price but was way pricey and Id like to try to cut that down a bit.

Let me know what you need, I work for an electrical contractor, but we deal with pvc for conduits. I can at least tell you what our going rate is to let you know how out of line the local guy is.

Sch 80 PVC parts prices

Im again making a potato cannon but but just the tank assembly and want to make it with sch 80 PVC since it has a higher pressure rateing of 370psi even though techically your not really suppose use compressed air or any gas for that matter with PVC since it could possibly shatter. With that said Im not planing to go over 100Psi and the potato gun that's I made with sch 40 is working just fine at 80-100psi and is rated at 260 psi. Ive found 2 of the items online for $30 plus shipping. They are the 2" X 3/4" sch 80 threaded bushing and the 3" sch 80 slip cap. The two other items would be a 3 X 2 sch 80 reducer coupling and a 2 foot X 3inch diam sch 80 pipe. If I can get the reducer coupling I could proably just pay and get the 2' section of pipe here to save on shipping but in any case even with the pipe shipping really shouldnt be that much. With those 4 items the local company who was probably changing me full retail wanted $150 plus tax so abou $160 total.
In addition I was needing to find out if maybe there was some other type of plastic that might be a better choice such as a rated ABS in the 250-350 range that would be safer. I would also not rule out using some sort or metal verses palstic but would need to know what would be the best so as not to be too heavy. Maybe a mid size propane tank would work something 2x the size of a regular Berzomatic tank or could possibly use two of the small tanks.
Thanks
Mark

I'll try to get some pricing for you this evening. I'll log in when i get home and see what I come up with.

You could use EMT pipe, not quite as heavy as rigid, but still pretty strong. A 10 or 15 lb CO2 tank might be good too if you could find an old cheap one.

Found most of what I needed on Lawn Sprinklers, Systems and Irrigation Equipment except for the pipe which II'll just get local. Ill probably pay out the butt that's fine since the 3 items will only cost about $50 shipped.

To give you an idea of how far this thing can launch a golf ball with the 6" tank a GB will fly 600ft @ 80psi. Not sure how far a GB will go with the 12" tank that I have @ 100psi couldnt find it when I did some test fires. Who know how afr the GB will go with a 2' tank. One thing though is with the larger tank I might also need a longer barrel so that the GB can still be acceling.

Im thinking about that too.
Ive seen one with a small propane tank like the ones used for the berzomatic could do a dual tank design I guess and then up the PSI to 125psi. Any higher the sprinkler valve used might fly apart and I would need to find another type of valve.
