I am putting this in the lounge hoping to get more responses.
How or where do I find out the exact build date of my truck? I am having something made and I thought it would be cool to have the build number on it. Thanks!

You can go to Ford and have them pull an Oasis report on your truck by the Vin #, or you can find somebody on here who works for ford and can run the oasis report for you. That'll give you the exact build date

Just go to any dealer and tell them you want the OASIS. They have to provide it to you. It will identify the production start and "build date".
[edit: "build date" may be different than "build number".] Last edited by '02 H-D #677; 09-24-2008 at 01:21 AM. |

Actually, an OASIS report doesn't show build number - it only shows build date, warranty start date and and Extended Service Plan (ESP) information. Of course it displays general model information also. |

Ahhh, my bad! I knew OASIS only shows build date and not build number. Don't really care regarding wife's new car anyway ... just bustin' balls regarding you goin' out-of-way to do checks for folks! Pretty nice of you!
