And I guess the hundreds of lawsuits from the local business owner against the city means the these people need that money from the two HARLEY Bike weeks. The city is just to stupid to enforce the laws that they already have in place. All of the assinine laws that were just passed are covered and just need to be enforced.
Now you and the few other 90 year old golfers can make up all of that revenue for that week. Let me know how you make out with that. I'm sure the local business's will be thankful that their are a few warm bodies there.

Really, So how do you know what "the city" wants. Maybe you are just trying to get YOUR views across in this. The fact of the matter is that the City of Myrtle Beach does not need any of the bike weeks at all. Neither do the local business' there. My father-in-law owns a hooters and a couple of shops on the "boardwalk" down there and he said that the chamber of commerce was largely in favor of doing away with the bike weeks. Maybe there are a few who want to see it keep going, but the majority wants it done away with. The city is supposed to act on behalf of the majority of its citizens, so I would guess that they are doing the right thing. Also, the NAACP would not sue anyone for doing away with the bike weeks. That is kind of funny that you would say that...
