How I spent saturday

Out with the stick!

Poly cradle bushings, and a billetflow IRS diff brace already installed on it

Upper brackets mount where the quad shocks used to

(No it isn't leaking, it rained a bit when I had the car jacked up and all the water trapped above the trunk poured out when I lowered the car)

In case you don't know my car, I have a `96 cobra DOHC motor in it too -

now I just need a blower and T56 to complete the transformation

I don't drag race this car and never will, it's strictly my daily, the only tracks it sees are auto-x events, I've got one coming up on the 28th and I can't wait

I love MM stuff, they're local to me and I've got basically their whole catalog in my `89 coupe LOL

bolt in, but 4 holes had to be drilled to mount verticle bolts on the upper bracket, from the factory they welded nuts into the frame rails, but the common swap way (and the way I did it) is to just drill all the way up into the trunk and use long bolts with large washers or plates in the trunk.

the lower mounting holes that were for the old lower control arms also had to be enlarged, from 12mm to 14mm, which was a ***** because my drill snagged a couple times and I damn near broke my arm.

it's MUCH nicer now for a DD, even with H&R Race 770lb/in rear springs it handles bumps and rough roads with a lot less impact to my butt.

It's slow as **** right now because it still has the stock gears in it, but I've already picked up a set of ford racing 4.30 gears to throw into it, just waiting to sell my solid axle parts before getting them installed.
