Nomination Thread for August 2010 TOTM

Ok, so this is the start of the first month where Paid & Registered Users can be nominated for TOTM. Please read the rules below prior to making your nomination.

Nominations will end July 20th at 11:59pm, at which time all nominees will be voted on by our previous TOTM winners to choose a winner.

Good luck to all!!

Rules for Nominating are now as follows:

1) A member can be nominated only once, if they have already been nominated please don't repeat the nomination, it does no good

2) Must currently have a Harley Truck (Any year)

3) Can not be a previous TOTM winner (this may be changing sometime in the future for those who have more than 1 truck)

4) Can not be a post whore who only posts up post whore posts (Post whoring post's are posts just to get your total post count up by simply putting a smiley or a quick 1-2 word post)

5) Had to have made a non post whore post within the last 3 months

6) Be a good board member

7) Must have greater than 500 total posts (Registered User only, Paid members can have any # of posts)

by the way hows the truck been doing since last Time we talked?

Self nomination is allowed

If you had enough posts as a registered user...your about 250 short!!!!

Truck is doing good...love the way she handles and stears now!!! Other than that, no complaints...still has the normal issues with a built truck to continue working through.

I fixed the rule for ya Oki, it will make clear-er so no mistakes there.

More power...means lil gremlins here and there and more money for more parts needed. She is running hotter than I want currently and I don't have funds to get the intercooler pump, radiator, and KC that I want.

Thanks buddy...I needed the Hoff Police to catch that one for me...I didn't even look to see how many posts he had.

The biggest problem with built motors is gremlins. Sh*t happens. The second problem is you never go big enough the first time and always end up wanting to "up the power" once you taste it. This is a road to financial ruin.

It leads to problem 3, never having enough cash to build what you really want...for the moment, and divorces cost. Now ..... what was the other question?

If the individuals who get nominated or someone else wants to post pics to show everyone, that is fine with me. I will not be posting pics and doing a user voting poll. The voting for the winner of TOTM is reserved for the previous TOTM winners and will be done by PM with me. Since you recentely won, you will be on this months PM Voting list.

If you want to, to show others and the previous TOTM winners that would be fine...as it would be easier for the nominees to post up pics then it would be for me to find them, save them, then upload them
