New from New Jersey

Hello! My name is Melanie and I'm from New Jersey. I just bought my first Harley F150 on Tuesday. It's a 2002, truck # 5531. I've wanted one since 2002 when I bought brand new Ranger instead. (Yeah I didn't have enough dough) But I thought it would be cool to finally have that '02 I always wanted.

I worked at Ford for many years, so of course was tortured by driving all the new Harley's, even taking them home for a few days. I finally found one at an excellent price, 10 minutes from work, so I knew I had to just get it. It's built date was my birthday, so this is definitely my truck!

I am a drag racer. I drive a 2000 Trans Am, high 10 second car. I also own 8 other Trans Ams, a Mustang, a few turbo'ed Buicks, and supercharged Pontiacs. However, this is my first boosted Ford! My sister owns an 03 Cobra, so that's the closest I've ever come!

Hope to learn a lot about my new truck. I have some many questions, and can't wait for the warm weather to start taking it apart!

welcome to the site! Definitely check out tpr103's link to DelValLO above, thats where most of the NJ local club action goes on. We have 3 track rentals a year, two big bashes (30-50 trucks), and smaller get togethers throughout the year. You're in the right club if you like to drag race! The worlds fastest 00, 01, and 02 HD's reside in NJ & PA!

you got some cool cars! i especially like the indy pace t/a and the t-type, but then again ive always wanted both lol.

Thanks! The Pace car only has 20k miles on it. It really is a beauty. I also have a 1987 Grand National with T-tops. A diamond in the rough right now.....
