Hey ya'll....Just bought this truck...2002 in grey...Tryin to learn what I can and seems like this is the place to be. I would tell you about the truck but you guys know more about it than I do. Its all bone stock except for the radio. The only thing broke was the cup holder and I already found the thread on how to fix that. Thanks whoever posted that one you were right on target. I'm from just south of Hattiesburg..town called Purvis..I've had bikes all my life and my current scoot is a Bigdog but this is my first four wheel Harley..Got to say I love this freakin truck so far..... If I can help anyone just shout. If I can comment on something I know about I will. Otherwise I'll just be readin and learnin about my new toy. Thanks to the Mods for puttin together the site....Wib-

Welcome to the nhtoc. Ask any question you may have if you can't find it with the search tool, we are all happy to help.
Some main things about your 2002 and some info we want to know: 1) Its DSG (Dark Shadow Grey) 2) They have 4 thread heads and are prone to popping a plug...you can fix it, but do a search so you have some info before it happens (if it does, some 02's never do) 3) Even being all stock don't do any 2 gear kickdowns (Like being on the highway in OD and flooring it so it goes to 2nd) and avoid WOT blasts in weather below 65* outside...the stock rods aren't the best and you could join the VBC (Vented Block Club) 4) What is your build number? Look on the little plaque in your tray up front 5) How many miles are on the truck? 6) If you plan on modding, get yourself a boost & and A/F wideband gauge at the least 7) and of course as everyone has said already...pics, pics, pics...we need pics!!!

 Sweet truck! If you ever get in the neighborhood of Jackson stop by the Harley Dealership off I-55 and Terry Rd. Tell Sonny I said hello! He has an 03 Shamu My wife graduated from Southern...good 'ole USM.
