Has anyone had any problems doing the 6lb lower and using a Super chips Micro Tuner or Predator Programmers? Did you need to get a chip programed?

No problems here. I briefly had a Microtuner before I added my 6lb lower pulley, but I have an interchangable and wanted the ability to run the 8lb ring if I ever got the balls to do so. The Microtuner pulley program is for 4lbs additional only (I think, been a little while), while the Predator is for up to 12-14lbs total.)
Either one should be fine for you and no additional chip needed. You may want to get the truck on a dyno just for peace of mind as I have heard a few people mention needing to adjust the program after seeing their initial dyno results.

With folks that are able to run both, the Superchips MicroTuner and the Predator, all have picked the Predator. A much better program with the Predator.
