Why not just get a Superchips tuner. Ithink they have one. You may want to check.

Because I have an aftermarket blower and the superchips tuner does not support that.

In that case I would get a chip burned foryour specific application. I think in your case it would be wise to tweak every bit of power out of your combo. In my experience with both chip and tuner the chip can be tweaked on a wider variety and customized a bit more parameter wise then a tuner such as a Predator. I would bet most tuners agree. once you get to the place your at it makes sense to get it on a dyno and tune by a chip from there. I don't think the base tune of your combo would be close enough for someone to just email you a file. There is not enough supporting data for them to go by unless you want to be uploading files until its right. Either way you'll need to hit a dyno. Keep us updated though. I am interested in your outcome. Sounds like a sweet setup

I have hit a dyno in the past. Also had a tune on it. The tune wasn't right. After talking to the tuner (a SV on this site) I was told nothing was wrong with the tune and the problem was with the dyno. Did'nt buy off on the answer but the tuner offered to refund my money. It also messed up my computer. I had to have Ford reflash it. So I am kinda of sold on going this route, that is unless my local dyno shop can refine their tuning skills. They are still dabbling in tuning fords.

1jt: A dyno tune, done correctly, is second to none. A good tuner will get the most power from your truck, safely. There is always a tad more power left under the table, for safety's sake. If you want a Superchips Custom MicroTuner, I have them available and can write a decent program, given the additions to your truck. I will still tell you that a dyno tune is better, I will tune it very safe, I can't put your truck on the dyno and read a wideband O2 analyzer, so it will be tuned very safe.

Dan, thats why your the man. Tell it straight. I always say the best way to get everything possible for any combo is dyno the vehicle. Every car is going to act a bit different even if they are the same make model and year with the same mods. They may be real close but nothing is 100% equal. You can finite a dyno tune with hard facts and data to confirm exactly what you are doing and its effect on the combo at hand.
There are no Ford specialists in your area? I'm surprised because the Ford make is the easiest and most widely modded computer out there.

Anyone that tells you they can tune "mail order" as good as a dyno tune is performing a feat yet unaccomplished in this world. We can get close, but, maybe close is not good enough for you. If so, find a tuner with a dyno that can tune your truck. MBO, I bought the Superchips Custom Tuning Package. Pretty neat toy. I only have 320+ parameters that I can play with, mind boggling. Still learning....
God Bless You and Yours, I missed you the past few days.
