    Blackwood trim Mod

This is real easy so I thought those wondering whether to do it and did not know how, I would make it a no-brainer. Open the new Blackwood trim pieces and locate the clip position. Then on the truck slide a credit card under the molding were the clips are at and push forward. Lift the old trim out of the clip and pull straight up in the direction the window would move. This slides it out of the track. Once it is out of the track pull the opposite end that is inserted into the side molding out. Then you reverse it to put them on. It took me longer to unwrap the dang trim and open the box.
You may have to pull a bit harder to lift the old trim out of the track. Don't be shy once you get it started its done. I put the windows down to make it easier. I doubt this "How To" was needed but every little thing helps. Plus I would not be me if I did not try to entice you into more mods........you did me like that....remember...lol

I haven't been fortunate to see any Blackwood trim first hand. Looking at my 2002 truck, it seems the peice under the window is one piece for each window. When I look at the photos of these installations, it does not look that way. It looks like there is black above and below the chrome. Is it the way the pictures are taken or what?

There is black above and below the chrome piece and each door is sold seperately. I have a piece off the passenger side rear I'll sell for $40 shipped to your door. Then you'll only need three and they are $50 each. I paid $200 for the entire set. I had an extra one from some confusion on a few deals and just found it brand new laying in the box. Let me know. Its easyto do and looks great. Look in my gallery I have pics of mine. Love it. Sets off the nerf bars real nice!

It is one piece with a chrome strip running down the middle of it.
