Will the C&L Tube hook straight up to a stock air box/Mass sensor?

    Intall questions??

I previously purchased the Deluxe LFP kit and Inlet pipe. When I tried to install the items I have several concerns/questions:
There were not any instructions in either box.
There was no way I could get just the inlet pipe on by itself?
How do you remove the filter box?
    Where does bracket mount?
Do I need to recalibrate ECM?

Cool LFP cold air & C&L tube

With basic hand tools remove stock air box down to and including your stock ribbed inlet pipe. This will have you at your throttle body. Be sure to disconnect battery, unplug MAF and air charge sensers.
Working from throttle body install C&L tube ( slip on, tighten clamp with screw driver ), slip MAF into C&L ( tighten clamp with screw driver). Slide LFP billet filter adapter ring into MAF, securing with provided (4) stainless steel .25x.50 hex head hardware. Slide 12" Power stack filter onto LFP billet filter adapter ( tighten clamp with screw driver ). Mount LFP stainless steel filter hanger at end of filter ( open end up, 90 degree arm toward fender ). Remove existing screw from driver side hole in fender ( where stock inlet was ) run screw through hole in LFP filter hanger and tighten. Place filter to fender inlet tube between filter and opening in fender. A bit of silicone can be used around lip of filter to make inlet tube more permanent. Plug in MAF senser & pre-installed Ford air charge senser at neck of filter. Hook battery up. Ready to go!
Unless you have upgraded to a larger MAF there is no reclaibration.

Mark what type of gains do you see if we upgrade to a open air filter kit and C&L tube. I've been debating the under the hood filter and I would still rather get a true cold air/Ramair kit. I was curious as to your thoughts on the subject. Thank you
