    LFP cold air

We dynoed the C&L True Flow this past spring. We saw a rw gain of 2-3hp. Removing any restriction in airflow is a good thing. Adding a cold air kit is worth about 15-18 rwhp. Better throttle response and allows the Eaton to perform better with unrestricted air flow. The open element vs closed element after market kits have been debated since 99 when the Gen2 Lightning was introduced. I'm of the opinion that unrestricted filter element will work as well if not better than the more expensive kits with boxes. Open element will move more air at same temps. as boxed kits once vehicle reaches 20-25mph. Boxed kits allow most of it's air to enter from ground level. Most boxes are fab. from aluminum which is heat absorbing. And with it has an oportunity to heat incoming air.

    Cool Cold air

Yes, let's not forget the increased sound level of the Eaton whine. It is truly music to the ears
