    Superchips 1704 Tuner REALLY WORKS!

Hi there, I just had to respond to this thread. If you are thinking about wanting to add performance AND gas mileage to your 2004 F-250, the Superchips 1704 Tuner is the way to go!

I bought one last week from a friend who now has a 2005 F-250 Tonka Edition and couldn't use it (it won't work on the 2005 PowerStroke 6.0L Diesel).

Anyway, I had to have it reflashed since my truck was current on all the computer flashes from Ford. I got it back yesterday and programmed the truck. Took it out on the road and IMMEDIATELY felt the power increase.

I have to drive into Dallas today so I'll let you all know how much my gas mileage increases too.

Damn, do you have one that will work in a '05?? I would LOVE to add 150 RWHP. How the heck can you gain that much HP from a tuner? Is it safe?

I called Superchips in November said it was in the works but would be several months, 150 hp from a tuner welcome to the world of diesels. You need a pyro and exhaust but it should be safe for all but your tires

What is a pyro? By exhaust, do you mean just a new catback system like a magnaflow? I am so ready to bolt on 150 RWHP!!!

Pyro shows the exhaust gas temp, all the major gauge mfr have them shows how hot the gases are so you don't melt anything, Catback are good but even better is a turbo back.

I have never heard of a turbo back. Can you recommend one for me? Thanks.

Do a search for MBRP they are probably the best and most $$$ for a turbo back dual system, turbo back will maybe give you a little more power but will lower your exhaust gas temps I did the search for you ( PS I don't work for MBRP I just plan on getting their exhaust after a few more miles)
