    intake

    Has any one noticed that when u put a cold air intake on your harley does the supercharger sound alot louder because i just installed my rem long carbon fiber intake tube with the filter kit and was wondering if anyone else noticed this.

    yea i heard this on CANES HD last week hes got the REM kit and it sounds sweet!!!

    so this is normal on our trucks
    Because it was louder and it sounded bad *** but didnt know if it was normal or not.

    i just did the cheap mod (took the bottom off the intake and zip-tied the filter to the upper intake) and it got louder and sounds sweet as hell now! but yes, with a cone filter it WILL get much louder and when you step up to the KB or similar it SCREAMS!!!

    I think i have a mod bug because i got my ftvb and 8lb pulley and cant wait to put them on and i just installed a oil seperator today hopefully i will have them on by the end of this week and i will go dyno it but all i can do is just want to go and put them on and i am eyeing a lfp 18" e-fan and high flow water pump and a bassani catback exhaust all from lfp and i just have to, so i think i might, damn i am spending all my money on my truck.

    the stock airbox has a silencer built into it to lower NVH (noise, vibration harshness) units.

    When I did my E-fan the S/C was more noticable. Now with the Volant in place it is a little more noticable again
