PLUS detail day with the KNOCKER-ettes....eeeehaaa, me likey a lot already.
BTW, I just registered over at Meguiar's and Mike has already started a thread about our detail day (with some very cool pictures) and one NOT SO COOL shot of a sample "HOW NOT TO" machine buff a tonneau. here is the link: http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...0367#post10367
hope you guys can drop by there and thank Mike & Ben for such a productive day.
HB,
I should be the one thanking you...now I can brag to my 2 daughters and all......I have seen THAT TRUCK in person. And I have the picture to prove it.
BTW, since my wife controls my money...you can say that she owns the truck
Glad to see that you all managed to make it out to the Detail Day in Irvine.
I've sat in the same classroom there and have spun a rotary and DA in the same garage. The techniques and products speak for themselves and, heck, take a look at the pictures! It looks like you all achieved EXCELLENT results. Mike Phillips is an extremely sharp guy when it comes to surface care! In the short time that I've known him (and while moderating at meguiarsonline.com), I've learned more than I could even begin to explain. Couple the reading at MOL as well as the Three-Day Advanced Surface Care Course that I attended in April with Mike Phillips and Mike Pennington's (Dir. of Training for Meg's) knowledge of surface care and I realized how little I knew before crossing their paths in the Meg's garage as well as the classroom.
There are oodles of great products available on the market, it is an event like this Detail Day that is offered totally free of charge that sets some companies apart from the rest.
If anyone is interested, be sure to check out the thread that Mike started over at meguiarsonline.com highlighting the NHTOC Detail Day which is located here.
