My first mods were a 6lb lower and a Predator.
In my opinion, the two should have come with the truck from the
beginning. The boost comes in so much quicker, and it just really is the shot in the arm the heavy harley needs to get moving.

A small set of people have gotten lucky with the Diablo Predator Pulley tune, however, the larger set of owners (both Harley and Lightning) believe that you should get a dyno and perhaps a custom tune.

For me, on the dyno, the stock Predator Pulley tune was a bit lean. So, I needed a custom tune.

If you have a good tune, the parts won't be detri****** to the truck. Just check the A/F on a dyno to be sure.

I got 372rwhp with the Predator, 6lber and a K&N Panel filter. I am using the pulley tune that came on the Predator. If you want to gt that little extra then JLP or RWTD can send custome tunes. My opinion is if you go this route then doing it on a dyno is the absolute best and safest way to do it. Airtroop has another 25 ponies with the custom tune but I still have to slap on my Efan and that will add another 10-20hp. I think its very safe and will not hurt your truck if you keep your A/F's at 12 or less. I hope this is helpful.

you said that you had to get a custom tune....
and that if you have a good tune, the parts won't be detri****** to the truck. Just check the A/F on a dyno to be sure...

how did you get your custom tune?
how much does it usually cost to get a vehicle dyno'd ???
once dyno'd how do you adjust your tune according to the dyno results?
