    Interior Air Vent

Got the last piece from Phoenix Imaging. Anyone know how to remove the right interior vent assembly? Not just the swivel part, but the whole assembly.
Thought about removing glove box cover and trying to get at it from below.
    thanks

they sent you a whole new vent assembly for that side?

when i called and asked about that vent (because i wanted them ALL to match so i wanted to do the right side vent as well just like you) they said i would literally have to take 1/2 the stinking dash out to remove the whole right vent assembly, so instead they made an overlay for the right side that stuck over top and was molded to look like it was a full replacement piece. was only 10 bucks so i figured if it didnt look right i could just not use it.

if its a full replacement and you do gotta tear into the dash, might want to stop into tweeter or one of those audio places. ask the installer from around back who does the alarm and audio installs whats gotta come out to reach that vent. i'm sure most of them have torn into a f150's dash once or twice and will have a pretty good idea

    Josh,
    thanks
originally just had the swivel piece done. didn't look right so picked up a vent assembly and had that done. will take your advice and see if an alarm/audio installer knows how
