    i've got a question for ya...how the heck do you get that rear seat back out? i've tried a million times and still can't figure it out

    To take the rear seat out, you need to remove the back first. There are three clips at the top - one on each side, and one in the middle. If you pull at the top of the seat (away from the backwall) you can see where these are.

    What I did was to grasp the bottom of the seatback directly under the top clips and lift straight up - it takes a bit of effort. Start on one side and move to the middle, and then the other side.

    You should now be able to lift the seat back forward. There are two retainers at the bottom (on either side) that you have to release.

    The ford workshop manual isn't much help it says:

    1 Fold down both rear seat cushions
    2 Remove the rear seat back
    - Push the wire hooks rearward to disengage the seat backrest from the back panel of the cab.
    - Lift the rear seat back upward and remove.
