    pinstriping flaking

hey guys! my pinstripe is flaking! i was wondering if any of you have dealt with this with your HD's. the orange is flaking off and is now red. i went to a body shop and they could remove the stripe for $30. have any of you got your pinstripes removed and if so could you tell that there used to be a pin stripe there? thanks;sfus

Since the truck is over 2 years old Im guessing that you will be able to see where it was for a while, after 3-6 months of regular washing and waxing it will dissappear, maybe sooner. The clearcoat Ford uses does have a certain amount of healing properties, look at the paint on a brand new car right after the dealer pulls off that plastic transit protecter film, its blotchey as he!! for a few days to a week then goes away like magic!
