Question - Who Makes the Best HandHeld Tuner? -

In the market for a hand held tuner, just for the stupid fact i still need to re-calibrate my speedo from adding the 24's. ;b

What brand is better & at what price?

I want my shift points back where they belong, my speedo to read correct, my ABS to function correctly, and maybe have a better engine tune....

Suks as i already have two Superchip blue chips with tunes on them.. are these worth anything these days, now with all these hand helds?

You can use the chips but any warranty claim on the drive train would most likely be voided. This does not mean you can't use them its just costly if a problem arises. I have used both Superchips and Diablo tuners and without a doubt the Diablo Predator is better. The shifting of the Tranny is one of the biggest reasons. It also allows more for adjustments, the ability to email custom tunes and datalog. The Superchip hand held tuner does not do all of these things. I love mine. I can tweak my Fuel, timing, idle speed and turn off the rev limiters and speed governors as well as recal the speedo for them big azz tires you have. My $.02.....Danny at 2D's is the best price around

Sure, but you would have a hard time getting the wheels back.. i sold them a year ago to someone else.

Call him for a price its been a while. I got one for my brother Mach I for under 3 Bonez but ours may be more. Danny is as nice a guy as you'll ever talk to and he sells both so I would pick his brain. He has no bias at all. I actually ran tests using both and I liked the Predator better. Give em a call

The hand held tuner is only as good as the person who programs it.

I don't think the superchips SCT handheld is available to just anyone.. is it?? I think only tuning dealers can buy it.

    new superchips microtuner

just wondering if anyone knows the best shift points for an 01 n/a on the max microtuner handheld pn#1715. and can you custom tune this thing or are you stuck with the performance tune it gives you ie timming, idle speeds and fuel mixture. the reason im asking is i dont like the shift points so i thought of putting a ftvb and setting the tuner back to stock shifting. any ideas? i hate to have spent the cabbage on this thing and dont really notice a whole lot.
