    Question: True Or False ???

Today I went to a toneu cover distributer here in Va & I asked if they can order me a Gaylord X2000 cover. I was told by the salesman that they don't recommend that cover because of the build quality & problems that they encountered with the ones that they have ordered for their customers. They suggested that I go with the LS11 series manufactured by ARE. The catalog/brochure they gave me shows a 2door H/D truck with one of these covers. I was told that this ARE cover mimics the front hood bulges of the H/D. Does the Gaylord X2000 come as a flat cover?. Is this salesman telling me the truth or just trying to push ARE products. Anyone here using this ARE LS11 toneau cover & are you satisfied with the fit & finish or is the Gaylord X2000 superior in your opinion & I should find a dealer willing to get me one.????

I haven't heard anything bad about the Gaylord X2000's, they are a really good tonneau. Flat and low profile

ARE's are pretty good quality too, but they aren't low profile, they stick up pretty far and have a buldge in the middle, guess thats what they mean by mimicking the hood

    Think he meant a 2000 - 2 visible doors, 2 suicide doors.

Thanks for the gallery Harley#356. I'm sold on the Gaylords X2000 or the Snuglid. Both are low profile & smooth. Sorry for the name calling (2 door H/D) should have said 00 Styled H/D. Thats the only way I could discribe the photo at the time of writing this post. Thanks for the response. I think that the salesman probably has his friends at ARE. I should know better. I'll buy what I like & I'll find either the Gaylord X2000 or the Snuglid.

Didn't see the access to rear door at first glance.
