    A built motor for a tenth the price!

    i had never heard about this until i read modified mag and saw an article about this. this is so cool, a built motor for a 10th the price, literally!

    That stuff is good s***.A friend of mine blew up his Huseberg(sp) motorcycle,like twice.He had the motor cryo'd.Hasent had ANY problems with it.When he told me he was gettin this done to his motor,,,I thought he'd gotten a bag of bad stuff,,,but it DOES work.

    I'd need to see some test done before I buy into it...

    $750 seems decent for freezing an entire engine, but who dismantle's the engine, and who puts it back together? that kinda scares me.

    I don't think it be worth it if you had to ship them all the pieces... Thats like a ton of metal.

    This is old news….do a search.

    The technology is sound and is used by many in the racing industry. The process is simply a better way to balance the molecules in the metal, therefore producing a stronger part with less friction.

    Basically the same thing as shot peening.
