    Keystone Hood Group Buys

I stumbled across an old thread at www.greatgroupbuys.com about organizing a Keystone Good Hood group buy. Seemed the thread kind of died, but I expressed interest in the GHF-105 cowl hood.

I contacted Keystone via e-mail a week ago and that hood still hasn't been made, but I was told that they are slated for Fall 2004 production.

    Check out the thread!

Let them know you're interested! I know a while back there were a lot of people wanting this hood.

There's been no mention of pricing yet.

There is not an iota of doubt in my mind that you will be able to "weasle" your way into this MOD (if there is a will, there is a scam!!) ;) ;t

    Lightbulb just to GAUGE/GENERATE interest

I have done some background work to assess the chances of a GB for an aftermarket hood. In order to see if a GB is possible, would like to ask who WOULD BE INTERESTED, WOULD LIKE TO BUY, YES IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT, etc.

    Please post if you like
    1. cowl or scoops
    2. preferred brand or maker (e.g. Keystone, Reflexxions, Cervini, etc.)

For guys that already have aftermarket hoods, would appreciate any input (fit, weight, price, source, etc.)
The retail prices for hoods range from mid-$400 to mid-$600 (you will pay for shipping and pain-to-match).
The interest here will help in getting a maker to agree to a GB (FYI, Keystone did a GB for Avalanche owners).

    Let me start:
    1. cowl (non-functional)
    2. Keystone or Reflexxions

Got word from Mark@LFP that he already has an account with Keystone (since he has been selling the shaker hoods for a while now). He does not need a GB to be able to get buyers a great deal.

Anyone SERIOUSLY READY TO BUY a Keystone, please post here the PART # you like. Mark will then gather these part #s and a price will be posted.
I also want a COWL but will probably go with CERVINIS ($439 LIST vs. $650 LIST for Keystone).

So, anyone IN THE MOOD FOR A HOOD?????
    KRIX...hint, hint!!
