Exclamation Thinner Energy Suspension Front Spring Isolaters FOUND!

Thanks to a little birdie named Chris (ayrton), I was lead in the correct direction and measured my stock springs to come up with this:

    Specs:

    Set No.
    9.6108

    A
    3 3/4"

    B
    4 1/4"

    C
    5 13/16"

    D
    5/16"

    E
    9/16"

    F
    7/8"

    Summit racing:

Although safe to run without isolators, this is for those of us who want the full drop from springs, with the added safety of a polyeurothane bushing. Also this is for those of us who were NOT provided with the thinner bushings from Hotchkis

    Cheap too! Enjoy!

That's a whole lot cheaper than what Hotchkis was willing to sell them for!

Hey Tek, I just purchased a TVS kit from mark @ LFP and was wonder with energy suspension bushing to run that would give me the max drop but wouldn't be to harsh to drive around daily. Is the ( A - F ) listed above are the different thicknesses they make for the bushings? Do you know how thick the stock ones are? thanks for the help

Excuse my ignorance (and this may be a really ignorant question), but is that something that could be substituted for the stock ones to achieve a small amount of additional drop? Seems like I have heard of people completely removing the stock ones to go a bit lower....

The A-F are the measurements for THIS set (use the picture above for reference). There were only two sets that would have fit, one wouldn't have fit that well...this was the better size.

Jeff, I would think that it would be a minimal drop, wouldnt be worth the hassle to be honest.

    Stock ones are probally 1 3/4" - 1 1/8" thick

IMO, yes. You will get somewhere between 1/4-1/2" or so. It just depends on how much more you want to go down. If you're sitting flat and want just a bit more then it may be worth it to you. It was worth the effort for me when I did it.

So does anyone have any pics of this isolator?
    OR
Does anyone have any pics of it on their truck?

Looks like the Summit link is for a GM? - Am I reading this right that the right part to use is a for a GM?

I just put in the Hotchkis TVS Kit... and I wish I knew about this sooner. I would have gotten different isolators.

Here's a link to my Hotchkis gallery. I think the last two are with the stock insulators, but I can't be sure. All other photos are with the Hotckis insulator.

I could kick myself in the *** for not buying that setup back when you offered it. Guess it took me too long to decide what direction I wanted to take with the truck.

Ok the ones I ordered were a bit too small, but I am going to call summit and ask them.

I have a bunch of time off due to getting my appendix ripped out lol

So, if that's the wrong size, what part number should we be ordering?
