Hi sladeyboy,
Got insurance through Hill House Hammond. Seems pretty reasonable.
I haven't had to get any parts yet but now need a new windscreen thanks to a pr#tt in a skip lorry chucking a boudler out to me.

MCE cheep as chips I will dig out their number for you when I get 5
Is your insurance for using the truck as commercial or social domestic and pleasure? and how much did you all pay?
Sladeyboy,
The truck is insured through my business for around £800 but this includes commercial and S,D and P.
It also has a windscreen cover so I now only need to pay the first £50 but have to use their recognised installers. Guess what? Autoglass and National Windscreens have never heard of a F150 let alone hold one in stock.!!!!
Cheers

Hi guys, im from Manchester and would be up for the France crossing, a meet up this neck of the woods would be good. As for the insurance, i use Adrian Flux cost me £1000 fully comp which is not bad, the only thing i got a problem with my SES light to sort out which im hoping is not too serious.
Well watch out for Bauer Milletts and welcome to the site what year truck do you have ?
thanks for that guys, i took my truck to Bauer Milletts for a 25k service and they charged me £314.00 to do that, then worst of all my SES light has come on, and they said they want £65 per hour to check it and they say it will take most of the day to do. I dont know what to do now, but everyone doesnt have good things to say about them. How do i check what code it is with the ignition key?
My truck is a 2001 Harley Davidson Supercrew, nice motor, done only 27k miles, its looks nice, but once i polish it up with KevF Mother products it will look bling!
Nice and when you do find out how to check codes with the key let the rest of us know lol
For those of you who don't - here it is:
Hold the trip meter reset button while you start the truck, keep holding it until your gauges max for a sec, then settle back, your odometer will say "test" then you can use the reset button to cycle through all sorts of stuff. When you shut the truck off, it goes back to normal operation - ie just the odometer/trip meter.
If you go to the link below it will explain the codes in more detail.

Hope this helps

Hi Lads, I am a big Yank Car enthusiast, just purchased my 2001 from Cleveland last Thursday and with a bit of luck it will be on the Ship next Monday and I should have it about 2 weeks later.
I'll book the SVA test whilst she is on the water and hopefully by Mid March I shall be driving it.
