    mud guards

anyone know where i can front and rear molded splash guards. i went to the local ford dealer and according to him, they were discontinued, which i wouldnt find it hard to believe. i'm looking for some either with a logo or without, but have to be molded so they interfere with the nerf bars. thanks jay

I got REAR molded mud guards by FORD, NO LOGO. Please call first to verify the part #s/price below:

    SouthWest Ford
    3000 Ft. Worth Hwy.
    Weatherford, TX 76086
    (T) 1-800-256-7933 | (F) 817-597-4294
    http://www.oemfordparts.com/

    Online Price: $32.53
Splash Guards=>Molded=>F65Z-16A550-HA (Lariat Rear Pair 4x2)
Splash Guards=>Molded=>F65Z-16A550-GA (Lariat Front Pair 4x2)

IIRC, FRONTS from FORD don't fit because of the chrome nerf bars but I found a pair (also molded, no logo) from a local AUTOZONE here in SoCal for under $20.

Some guys don't like 'em but I DO NOT LIKE cleaning my bars/exhaust tips often.

Ford doesn't make molded splash guards for the front of H-D's (because of nerf-bars) ... never has. The rear molded guards for an F150 4x4 w/flares work in the rear of the H-D though.

Maybe if you stopped running over dead cats...they'd be easier to clean!

The flaps didn't look bad at all. Though I still think you should sand them down and paint them to match!

When I went to the dealer and looked at the rear one, I noticed it was narrower than the tires. What good is that? I decided not to buy them for what they wanted and still NOT be the right size. With the narrow stock F150 tires it would probably be fine, but with our tires it is about an 1 1/2 to 2 " too narrow. sigh.....
