It will be a couple weeks before I take delivery, Jeff. I'll be putting it in the water right here in Sacramento (full access to the Delta and bay). I'll have a 35' covered slip at Veronna's Marina in Oct. Till then, I have a friend that has two slips.....one here in Sac and one down at Willow Berm Marina and he'll let me rent one for a month. Or, I could leave it on the trailer for a month, providing I've bought a 1 ton dually by then.

What size is your boat Jeff? Do you ever go out in the Delta?

Jeff there is a one page delta map that you can pick up at any of the marinas. It's pretty through and complete. It will not have the current depth readings, but you will not need those, in a run about. There's over 1,000 miles of waterways in the Delta and a little marina, bar or restaurant at every turn, should you get lost.

I sold my truck and am now the proud owner of a new 2004 Ford F-350 , diesel, Dually, 4x4, 1 ton with Off Road Package and Tow Package on the outside and the Lariaret package (all power and all leather with high rise buckets in front). Paid a remarkable $35,888. The window sticker was $45,895 so I'm stoked! I finally got a truck for what I thought it was worth. lol

O.k. I'll post some pictures later.

    Seems like you made out...
Congrats for coming out on top...
At first I thought you were going to have to sell your truck cause of all your misfortune and now you got a huge boat and a new F-350 dually.

Thanks for the complaments. The bilge looks the same on both sides (twin engine)......you could eat off the bilge floor.....or any part of the boat, for that matter. Only 350 hours on those motors! The surveyor wrote in his analysis that "this boat appears to be in excellant condition on the surface and even after through inspection it's obvious that this boat has spent most of it's life on it's trailer." I know, it's a run on sentence.....but it's the point that he was making that I liked reading. I feel very fortunate to have came across this deal.

Ray, Ray, if you read this, please call me or PM me. I have something for you, but don't have your phone number.
